This role is crucial for developing mixed-signal electronics modules that control complex, robust laser systems for demanding space applications, including the Nobel Prize-winning frequency comb technology adapted for orbit. Day-to-day responsibilities span the entire development lifecycle, from defining requirements and designing multilayer PCBs for high-frequency signals to prototyping, verification, and qualification as flight hardware, adhering strictly to standards like ECSS, MIL, and IPC.
