Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious System Engineer who will act as the crucial interface between clients and the development team, primarily supporting projects within the mechanical engineering sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the entire system lifecycle, from reviewing specifications (Lastenheft) and deriving detailed requirements (Pflichtenheft) using Requirements Engineering principles, to technically defining and evaluating system concepts and architectures. The engineer will coordinate external development partners, create test specifications, manage system test benches, and lead internal and external system trials and validation measurements (including environmental testing). The ideal candidate brings professional experience in system design, proficiency in requirements management tools like DOORS, and fluent communication skills in both German and English, coupled with strong technical understanding and strategic thinking.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- Professional experience in the design and layout of systems, machines, and units of comparable complexity
- Experience in requirements management and the application of DOORS
- Routine use of MS Office applications, MS Project, and SAP R3
- Leadership qualities and assertiveness
