Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Development Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering, focusing on advancing technology within the aerospace and space industry. Day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting the Spacecraft Harness work package, including the delivery of associated hardware, models, and documentation for space programs (Phases BCD). Key tasks include analyzing customer and mission requirements, defining functional and physical electrical wiring, and collaborating with Mechanical Engineering on geometric harness design. The engineer will also conduct crucial analyses such as voltage drop, cable/connector derating, and mass estimation, while co-engineering with harness suppliers to track design and MAIT activities. This position requires a degree in a relevant engineering field and initial professional experience in developing and manufacturing electrical interfaces and harnesses, with strong German and English proficiency essential for success.
