Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Quality Assurance department by operating fiber measurement equipment and ensuring product quality standards are met. Day-to-day tasks include loading fiber spools onto measurement devices, accurately documenting test results, conducting throughput tests, and performing visual final inspections of fibers according to specifications. The technician is also responsible for reporting and potentially resolving equipment malfunctions and maintaining the cleanliness of the measurement devices. Key requirements include technical understanding, manual dexterity, and basic IT skills, alongside a willingness to work in a 3-shift system. This position offers a stable, permanent role within Germany's only industrial manufacturer of optical glass fibers, contributing to a company known globally for its specialization in multimode fibers for modern data centers.
