Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the accurate and up-to-date digital documentation of supply networks within the Network Information System (NIS) for Hamburg's largest energy distribution network operator. Day-to-day tasks include digitally capturing network documentation, performing quality assurance within the NIS/GIS, and meticulously reviewing all incoming documents, such as network changes, survey data, and sketches, from a surveying perspective. The specialist will also create and update specialized documentation for internal departments, authorities, and external companies, and develop/update technical guidelines for network documentation. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training in Geomatics, Surveying Technology, Technical Drawing, or Construction Drawing, coupled with practical experience in processing geodata within network and geographic information systems. A strong understanding of electrical engineering and proficiency in MS Office are essential for success in this detail-oriented and collaborative position.
