Job Summary
This role is for an experienced IT Service Technician to ensure the digital future capability of Germany's armed forces by providing stable, secure, and efficient IT services. Based in Munich (North), you will be responsible for on-site service delivery, including troubleshooting, new installations, and refreshing IT and telecommunications (TK) end devices and systems for Bundeswehr users. Key tasks involve executing IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission) orders, providing 1st and 2nd level on-site support, and commissioning customer IT infrastructure, including network and server environments. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant IT qualification, three years of professional experience in IT/TK fault clearance and on-site service, strong organizational skills, and fluent German proficiency. Required Skills
Education
Completed training as an IT System Electronics Technician, IT Specialist for System Integration, or comparable qualification
Experience
- 3 years professional experience in IT/TK fault and disruption clearance
- Experience in on-site service delivery to users
- Experience and ability in DGUV V3 (German Accident Prevention Regulation 3) examination (Advantageous)
