Job Summary

This full-time position, based near Peine, involves specialized technical work within a public sector administrative organization, focusing on the analysis, modeling, and documentation of complex 3D geological and mining data. The Geomodeler will be responsible for the expert analysis and evaluation of 3D survey data, particularly from laser scanning and photogrammetry. Key daily tasks include creating, editing, and maintaining spatial models of subterranean structures using CAD technologies, integrating these models into attributed BIM systems, and linking graphical geodata with factual data via Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Furthermore, the role requires the semantic analysis and structuring of large geometric datasets, such as point clouds, and the development of database applications for geoscientific data. Candidates must possess a university degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Surveying, Geomatics, or Cartography, coupled with several years of professional experience in point cloud processing, CAD construction, and BIM modeling. A significant advantage of this role is the flexibility for mobile working, allowing up to 80% remote work after the initial training period.
