Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join an innovative, international engineering team in Langenfeld on a permanent contract. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing embedded software using C/C++ for prototypes, implementing control and regulation algorithms, and driving actuators and sensors. You will collaborate closely with hardware development, sales, and R&D teams, participate in product conceptualization, and conduct testing, commissioning, and optimization. A key part of the role involves creating technical specifications and coordinating with external technology partners. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science, possesses several years of experience in embedded software development (ideally with RTOS), and has strong knowledge of electronics and hardware integration.
