Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Linux Administrator to join a top employer in the Emmendingen district, focusing on the healthcare sector's billing and administrative processes. The core responsibilities involve the full lifecycle management—commissioning, migration, maintenance, monitoring, and decommissioning—of approximately 130 Linux systems based on RHEL, CentOS, openSUSE Leap, and SLES. The administrator will be crucial in ensuring operational readiness, conducting updates, patches, and security measures, and optimizing infrastructure performance. Key technical duties include administering applications like Apache Webserver, Apache Tomcat, and NGINX, as well as evaluating and implementing new technologies. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications, coupled with multi-year professional experience in Linux administration, and proficiency in German and English.
