Job Summary

This role involves driving the digital transformation of the German healthcare system within the Digital Health Excellence Center, focusing on creating modern and secure systems for millions of people. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing and interpreting health-related data (e.g., electronic patient records, medical imaging, clinical studies) to derive data-driven recommendations for improving patient and HCP experiences. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain databases, data pipelines, and cloud architectures to support AI projects, ensuring data integrity, security, and scalability. Key requirements include at least two years of relevant professional experience in Data Science or Healthcare, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in data management, interoperability standards (like HL7, FHIR), and regulatory requirements (GDPR). Fluency in both German and English is mandatory, along with foundational knowledge in statistics, programming (Python, R, SQL), ML Ops/CI/CD, and cloud computing.
