Job Summary

This role as a Data Architect within the Digital Health Excellence Center involves spearheading the digital transformation of the German healthcare system by guiding public administrations (Federal, State, and Municipal) toward modern, secure IT solutions for millions of people. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust data architectures for complex Digital Health platforms, designing data models for both structured and unstructured health data, and ensuring strict adherence to interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR. A critical part of the job is maintaining data quality, governance, and compliance with stringent regulations such as GDPR. You will advise project teams on best practices in data management, Cloud architectures, and Big Data technologies, while also evaluating cutting-edge tools like Data Lakes, ETL processes, API management, and AI-based analytics to enhance patient care. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of data architecture, experience with major Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), and a minimum of four years in implementing data solutions, coupled with C1 fluency in both German and English.
