As a Protection Technician, you will be instrumental in the commissioning, testing, and maintenance of conventional and digital protection and control systems within substations. Your daily tasks will involve independently analyzing and resolving faults in these critical systems, alongside technically designing components for protection and control technology. You'll be responsible for parameterizing medium-voltage protection devices and expertly overseeing their commissioning. Utilizing testing equipment like the Omicron system, you will conduct thorough protection tests and leverage software solutions such as Neplan or PowerFactory for network planning and analysis. Completed degree or advanced training as a Technician or Master in Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Experience with protection relays and station control systems
  • Experience in using common testing technology, especially with devices like Omicron CMC 356
