Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Software Tester to join a company specializing in the development and manufacturing of specialized vehicles and systems technology in Kassel. The core responsibility involves creating and implementing detailed verification concepts for military systems across component, software, and overall vehicle levels. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing system requirements, drafting comprehensive test specifications and plans, preparing and enhancing the laboratory setup, and executing both manual and automated tests, including Unit Tests. The successful candidate will also manage the defect resolution process, collaborate closely with quality assurance for software component acceptance, and coordinate testing timelines to ensure timely delivery of robust test reports. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, fundamental knowledge of requirements analysis, and practical experience in conducting function tests and test management. Proficiency in Python and C++ programming is required, and an ISTQB certification is highly desirable.
