Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Development Engineer in Kassel to focus on the optimization and implementation of complex system technology for specialized vehicles, particularly involving military applications. The core responsibilities include designing and developing new FPGA designs using Xilinx FPGAs, Verilog, and High-Level Synthesis (HLS). You will also be tasked with developing drivers in C for Xilinx UltraScale controller architectures at both the Bare-Metal and Linux levels, with a focus on video processing systems. A crucial aspect of the job is managing the entire development lifecycle—from initial design and implementation through integration, verification, and final documentation according to strict military standards. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, possesses significant experience in FPGA development and digital circuit modeling, and demonstrates strong strategic thinking and collaboration skills, supported by solid German and English proficiency.
