Job Summary

This role is for a Lead Building Services Technician based in Kiel, responsible for overseeing and executing maintenance and repair work on technical building systems for a key client. Day-to-day tasks involve organizing, controlling, and partly conducting maintenance and repair tasks across various trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration). The technician will be crucial in optimizing existing systems and operational processes, documenting work using mobile devices, and supporting the facility manager with commercial tasks using SAP and MS Office. The ideal candidate must have a completed professional technical qualification (e.g., in HVAC, electrical, or refrigeration technology), significant professional experience in technical building equipment service, and strong customer and service orientation. Required Skills

Education

Completed professional training as a Plant Mechanic SHK, Central Heating and Ventilation Installer, Gas and Water Installer, Electrician for Energy and Building Technology, Mechatronics Technician for Refrigeration Technology, or comparable qualification. Further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician in Heating, Climate, Ventilation, Sanitation, Electrical Engineering, or Refrigeration Technology is preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Technical Building Equipment (TGA) as a Service Technician (SHK/HKLS), Building Technician (Heating/Climate/Ventilation/Sanitation), Lead Building Technician, Senior Mechanic, or Facility Management
  • Experience in organizing, controlling, and executing maintenance and repair work
  • Experience supporting commercial areas, including using SAP
