Job Summary

This role involves leading and coordinating complex automation projects within a leading robotics and automation technology company specialized in high-tech industrial applications. The manager will be responsible for optimizing planning and development processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to deadlines. A key focus is providing technical and professional leadership in the design, development, and layout of electrical control, measurement, and automation systems for sophisticated mechatronic plants. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing technical documentation, creating schematics using EPLAN, programming PLC and microcontroller solutions, and integrating modern bus systems like EtherCAT and CAN. The ideal candidate holds a degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Automation Engineering, possesses several years of relevant project steering experience, and has proven experience leading small technical teams (5-7 employees). Success requires fluent German skills, a proactive, analytical approach, and a commitment to driving technological innovation and technical excellence within the department.
