Job Summary

This role is centered on executing critical non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures, specifically Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), on essential railway components such as wheelsets and bogie parts. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing test items, conducting the specified tests, meticulously documenting all work processes and results, and evaluating findings against defined criteria. The successful candidate will also perform visual inspections of rail components for wear and damage, and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Key requirements include a completed qualification as a Materials Tester or equivalent, alongside mandatory valid certifications according to DIN EN ISO 9712 in UT 1, VT 1, and MT 1.
