Job Summary

This critical role involves coordinating and managing the Central Technical Services within the Technical Building Management (TGM) at the Bundeswehr Service Center in Kaufbeuren. The Technical Operations Engineer will lead the planning, execution, and control of inspection, maintenance, and repair activities for all installed operational technology on site. A core focus is ensuring strict adherence to legal requirements, safety regulations, and operator responsibilities for all technical systems. Key responsibilities also include optimizing maintenance management, steering energy management initiatives, and handling digital data management, including quality assurance in SASPF and digital building models. The position requires a university degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in a relevant technical field such as Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, offering the opportunity for permanent civil servant status (A12) or an indefinite contract (E11 TVöD), potentially including a substantial recruitment bonus.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma FH) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Energy and Building Technology, or a comparable technical field; Eligibility for the higher technical administrative service.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the higher technical administrative service or comparable roles
  • Knowledge and experience in building technology and building automation (Desired)
  • Experience applying SASPF and other MS software solutions (Desired)
