Job Summary

This critical role as a Chemist, situated within the Institute for Pharmacology and Toxicology of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) in Munich, focuses on advanced analytical chemistry related to chemical warfare verification. The professional will be responsible for planning, developing, and establishing new methods for the biomedical verification of exposure to chemical agents, utilizing complex analytical techniques such as LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS while handling highly toxic substances. Key duties include processing proficiency tests for the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), collaborating internationally, and presenting scientific concepts at conferences. The position requires a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, proven scientific expertise (via PhD or professional experience), and demonstrated competence in managing Quality Management Systems (e.g., DIN ISO 17025).
