Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing the Toolmaking department, overseeing personnel management, capacity planning, and team development. The Head of Toolmaking is responsible for the planning, control, and optimization of manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of stamping and injection molding tools, ensuring adherence to quality, deadlines, and cost targets. A key focus is the introduction of new manufacturing technologies, materials, and processes to boost productivity and tool quality. The ideal candidate will possess a technical degree or equivalent qualification (Technician/Master Craftsman) in toolmaking, combined with several years of experience in tool manufacturing and maintenance, preferably with prior leadership experience. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, business acumen, deep knowledge of CAD/CAM, manufacturing processes, and modern tooling technology, alongside fluent German and English skills for effective cross-functional collaboration with design, production, and quality assurance teams across various locations.
