Job Summary

This is an exciting, full-time, permanent opportunity for a Wastewater Civil Engineer to take on the technical operations management of the municipal wastewater utility in Bruchhausen-Vilsen. Day-to-day, you will ensure the smooth operation of the extensive sewerage and rainwater network, manage the annual budget plan in collaboration with commercial management, and optimize the digital infrastructure/GIS system for wastewater lines. A core responsibility involves leading and controlling civil engineering projects, including sanitation, maintenance, and new construction of sewer systems and associated technical facilities like pump stations. You will conduct condition assessments, prioritize investments based on TV inspections, and act as the client representative while overseeing external contractors. Candidates must hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Municipal Water Management, or equivalent, possess strong general IT skills, and demonstrate a citizen-oriented approach.
