Job Summary

This role involves working as a Maintenance Engineer specializing in Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP), Polishing, and Plating within a fully continuous 24/7 shift system. The primary responsibility is ensuring high production availability and the professional, high-quality execution of maintenance tasks on the relevant equipment. Day-to-day activities include performing planned and unplanned maintenance, adhering strictly to safety regulations, and proactively troubleshooting and resolving simple electrical, electronic, and mechanical system failures, often collaborating with internal teams and external service partners. Key qualifications include a technical vocational degree, ideally with an electrotechnical focus (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics), and initial professional experience in practical maintenance (Preventive Maintenance and troubleshooting), preferably within the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate must be reliable, team-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement processes.

Required Skills

Education

Technical vocational degree, ideally with an electrotechnical focus (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics), and ideally a Technician degree in a relevant field

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in practical maintenance (Preventive Maintenance and troubleshooting)
  • Professional experience in the production and maintenance of technical equipment and systems (preferably in the semiconductor industry)
  • Experience with methods such as SPC is desirable
