Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated IT Administrator to take responsibility for the operational IT environment and the continuous development of a modern IT infrastructure in Herzogenrath. The successful candidate will independently manage servers and computers, ensuring maximum availability through regular updates, and will focus on optimizing the infrastructure by introducing new technologies. Key responsibilities include administering and expanding SAN concepts (Netapp) and virtualization environments (VMware, OLVM), alongside developing robust data security concepts and implementing backup/recovery scenarios. The position requires a degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical qualification, strong experience in network and server administration (Windows, Linux, Next Generation Firewalls), and proficiency in both German and English for effective collaboration with internal teams and international partners.
