Job Summary
As a Windows Server Specialist, you will join the Server Management team, which is crucial for delivering server-related services within the Joint Data Center of DRV. Your daily tasks will involve coordinating specialized system engineering assignments, including creating IT standards and guidelines, conducting complex IT analyses, and developing and implementing high-level IT concepts and systems. You will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling IT procedures, performing advanced problem analysis and troubleshooting, and designing IT operational workflows. This role requires expertise in Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Terminal Server technology, and automation using PowerShell scripts. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Diploma FH) in IT or comparable qualification (e.g., IT-specific qualification) or completed vocational training in IT or comparable several years of practical experience in IT
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience in IT regarding design and transition, with a focus on Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Windows Terminal Server technology (Remote Desktop Session Host and RDS Deployment), Windows Update Service (WSUS), and Microsoft Key Management Service (KMS)
- Experience in automation using Automic for Windows Server Deployment and configuration, applying advanced PowerShell scripts
- Experience in creating design concepts in Confluence (advantageous)

- Willingness to participate in on-call duty on weekends and holidays; Willingness to undertake occasional inter-site business trips between Berlin and Würzburg; Willingness to undergo and successfully complete a security clearance (SÜ) according to § 9 Security Clearance Act (SÜG); Willingness to participate in further training/events outside of the Berlin location.
