Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Electrical Engineer or Technical Specialist to join the Asset Management team at MITNETZ STROM, a major regional distribution network operator in Eastern Germany, focusing on securing the future of the power grid. The specialist will be responsible for developing technical fundamentals and standards for operational equipment, materials, and technologies within the distribution network. Key day-to-day activities include technical foundational work, managing technical regulations, quality management, and quality assurance for electrical components, especially medium-voltage switchgear and local network stations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, possesses deep expertise in power engineering devices and components, and is skilled in assessing complex technical issues, applying relevant standards, and driving technical decisions within project teams. The position offers a hybrid work model based in Kabelsketal.
