Job Summary

The Technical Supplier Manager will be instrumental in overseeing supplier relationships, focusing specifically on the mechanical processing of hot gas components for gas turbines. A core responsibility involves developing and releasing manufacturing processes in collaboration with international suppliers, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, timelines, and cost targets. Day-to-day tasks include managing product and process qualification (PPQ) projects for components made from Nickel or Cobalt-based superalloys, monitoring supplier quality metrics, initiating corrective actions (8D reports), and providing crucial manufacturing feedback to the development department. This role requires early integration into product development, technical assessment of components during supplier selection, and defining acceleration measures for project delays. Candidates must possess an engineering background and fluent proficiency in both German and English, contributing actively to sustainable energy solutions within an international team.

Required Skills

Education

Engineering degree in Manufacturing Technology, Materials Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Supplier Management, or comparable discipline

Experience

  • Initial knowledge in mechanical processing (Grinding, Milling, EDM)
  • Initial knowledge in sheet metal processing (Forming, Welding, Laser Drilling)
  • Initial knowledge of turbine hot gas parts and their manufacturing/testing technologies (e.g., Airflow)
  • Professional experience in Project Management
  • Professional experience in Supplier Management
  • Professional experience in Quality Management
