Job Summary

This role involves supporting the operational management and maintenance of technical building systems in Berlin for a leading service provider in Facility Management and Industrial Services. The Facility Manager will be responsible for assisting service technicians with troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance, managing internal relocations and room outfitting (furniture and technology), and performing safety and functional checks. Key daily tasks include conducting control rounds, performing locking duties, managing minor repairs, maintaining outdoor areas, and overseeing external contractors' performance. The ideal candidate must have a background in building services or electrical engineering, strong technical understanding, and a high degree of customer and service orientation. This position offers a permanent contract, above-tariff compensation, continuous training, and a supportive, international work environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Building Services Technician (Energy and Building Technology) or Electrical Engineering Technician

Experience

  • Professional experience as a caretaker or building services technician
  • Experience in fault finding, repair, and preventative maintenance of technical building systems
  • Experience working independently, carefully, and proactively

Languages

German (Intermediate)

Additional

  • Valid, permanent work and residence permit for Germany required; Driver's license Class B; Willingness to work in alternating shift systems (6:00 - 14:30, 8:15 - 17:00).
