Job Summary

This Senior Professional System Engineer role involves designing, developing, and testing the Electronic Facility and Asset Management (EFA) IT system, which supports the infrastructure management of the Federal Employment Agency (BA). The successful candidate will work within an agile, interdisciplinary team (using Scrum and SAFe) to ensure the quality and reliability of the software, focusing on the SAP modules RE-FX and PS. Day-to-day tasks include planning and maintaining IT systems, analyzing system requirements, performing software development, customizing, testing, and providing 2nd Level Support for technical and functional user inquiries. This position requires solid experience in software development/customizing, troubleshooting, and infrastructure operation, along with foundational knowledge of S/4HANA and SAP RE-FX/PS. The role offers high flexibility, including the option to work up to 80% remotely, making it an attractive opportunity within one of Germany's largest public sector IT landscapes.
