Job Summary

This role in Dortmund is seeking an assisting Laboratory Assistant to handle essential lab activities, focusing primarily on sampling and quality control preparation. Day-to-day responsibilities include the prioritization and collection of samples for quality control, managing the storage and retrieval of retention samples, and preparing samples for routine analyses, such as sensory evaluation. The position also involves simple administrative tasks like document filing and supporting sample drawing, including preparation and execution of sampling for incoming goods, warehouse inventory, and microbiological environmental monitoring (surface swabs, air collection, water sampling). Candidates should possess professional experience in a laboratory setting, handling chemicals, or performing sampling for goods receipt/environmental monitoring, and must have good written and spoken German and English skills, along with proficiency in MS Office.
