Job Summary

This role is an immediate opening for a Chemical Laboratory Technician within a leading defense technology company specializing in chemistry, located in Aschau am Inn. The technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining pilot plants, specifically those dealing with explosive materials. Daily tasks involve the monitoring and evaluation of process data, initiating appropriate corrective measures when deviations occur, and collaborating closely with project managers on the documentation of experiments, processes, and results. You will also conduct sampling for product and quality control, and perform basic laboratory tasks related to development and testing assignments. Key requirements include safe, responsible, and meticulous handling of chemicals, ideally coupled with practical experience in chemical synthesis, and a pronounced sense of safety awareness, especially when working with hazardous substances. This position offers an uncomplicated entry into the field and the potential for a permanent contract.
