Job Summary

This critical role ensures the continuous, smooth operation of all technical building systems necessary for secured patient care within a university hospital environment. The Control Room Technician serves as the 24/7 central point of contact for all incoming disruption reports, emergency calls, and danger reports, requiring mandatory participation in rotating shift work (including nights, weekends, and holidays). Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring supply and operational systems using Building Control Technology (GLT), evaluating and documenting disruption reports, initiating damage prevention measures, and coordinating external emergency services (Fire Department, Police) during major incidents. Candidates must possess a technical background, preferably in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or MCR Technology, coupled with strong PC skills (MS Office, CAFM systems) and excellent communication abilities to manage and resolve technical issues effectively across the campus.
