Job Summary

This role involves providing essential onsite IT support for a leading German IT service provider, managing over 600,000 IT workstations globally. The Onsite Support Technician will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of notebooks, printers, and peripheral devices directly at the user's location. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving issues related to Windows, networking, and hardware, managing support requests via ticketing systems, and detailed documentation. A key part of the job is setting up new workstations, assisting with rollouts and migrations, and providing user training on new hardware and software. Candidates must have a completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent experience, strong troubleshooting skills across clients, printers, and mobile devices, and proficiency with Windows, standard software, and Active Directory.
