Job Summary

This role involves working as an Electrical Engineer or Technician specializing in power grid automation for an internationally active technology group in Waltershausen. The core responsibilities include the project planning, design, and engineering of secondary technology within low, medium, and high voltage networks, specifically focusing on industrial power supply, infrastructure projects, and power supply systems. Candidates will be responsible for conceptualizing protection, control, management, and network technology, dimensioning electrical components (such as cable cross-sections and fuse sizes), and creating standard-compliant circuit diagrams using DIN and IEC standards. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in electrical engineering or extensive professional experience as an Electrical Technician, coupled with proven expertise in electrical networks and CAE software like ENGINEERING BASE or EPLAN. Strong German language skills (C1) and ideally intermediate English (B1) are required for technical coordination.
