Job Summary

This role involves taking a central position in ensuring the secure, reliable, and fault-free operation of secondary technology across all network systems, including 110 kV transformers and switchgear, within a regional network company. The System Engineer will be responsible for supervising and monitoring highly available protection technology, overseeing primary technology maintenance (e.g., 110 kV and 20 kV circuit breakers and transformers), and conducting crucial network protection calculations. A key focus is the development and maintenance of a comprehensive network protection concept. Additionally, the role includes coordinating complex measurement systems for EMC, Power Quality (PQ), and thermography, implementing IT security measures, and contributing to investment and maintenance planning, including budget and deadline responsibility. This position requires deep expertise in secondary technology within distribution network operations and a degree in Electrical Engineering.
