Job Summary

As a Telecommunications System Administrator at OsthessenNetz GmbH, you will be responsible for the installation, monitoring, management, and optimization of telecommunications systems and associated IT infrastructure. This critical role ensures the reliable operation of wired communication networks, telephone systems, and crisis communication channels for regional utility services. You will manage information technology and process data networks, including digital transmission via microwave links. A significant part of the role involves system-wide fault diagnosis, troubleshooting complex telecommunications and secondary technology, and performing cable fault measurements using specialized diagnostic equipment. Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring high availability and IT security compliance.
