Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Mannheim as an R&D Laboratory Technician, initially through a specialized temporary employment contract with the explicit goal of permanent takeover. You will be instrumental in the development of diagnostic test systems, independently executing critical technical activities such as variance and comparative analyses, and performing batch and tolerance evaluations. Key responsibilities include conducting system and assay performance verification, creating detailed test plans, running experiments, and statistically evaluating and presenting the results to the team. Candidates must possess a successfully completed vocational qualification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technician, combined with professional experience in system development within the chemical industry, especially concerning Point of Care (PoC) diagnostic measuring systems. Fluency in German is required for daily use, along with basic English skills and proficiency in statistical analysis tools like JMP.
