Job Summary
This part-time (50%) role as a Quality Management Officer is situated within the Institute for Virology at the University Hospital Bonn (UKB), one of Germany's top university clinics. The successful candidate will be crucial in coordinating Quality Management activities related to virological patient care. Key responsibilities include ensuring strict regulatory compliance with standards such as the EU-IVDR, RiLi-BÄK, AMG, and DIN EN ISO 15189, conducting internal and external audits independently, and processing corrective measures. Furthermore, the role involves continuously training staff on QM regulations and assisting in the QM-compliant implementation of a new Laboratory Information System (LIS). Candidates must hold a degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., Biology or Biomedical Science) and possess experience in Virology, Microbiology, or Hygiene. Prior experience in Quality Management is highly desirable, emphasizing the need for a highly motivated and proactive individual.

Successful completion of a degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Science). Doctorate (PhD) is desired but not mandatory.
