Job Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining backend components for payment processing within the agree21-SEPA banking system, focusing heavily on Java EE applications. The successful candidate will leverage technologies such as JMS, IBM MQ, and DB2, ideally possessing experience in high-volume data processing. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing existing processes, proposing optimizations for efficiency and error reduction, especially in large batch operations, and actively contributing to architecture and interface evolution. Quality assurance is critical, enforced through automated testing, code reviews, and Continuous Integration. This position requires strong analytical skills, professional experience in Java EE backend development, and fluency in both German and English (C1 level).
