Job Summary

This role involves supporting the design and integration of Galley and Stowage systems within aircraft cabins for a leading aerospace client. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing technical specifications, developing and managing customer-specific cabin requirements, and ensuring seamless module integration across various aircraft configurations. The engineer will actively participate in the design and integration processes, collaborating closely with internal teams (design, manufacturing, assembly) and external stakeholders (suppliers, authorities). Key qualifications include a technical degree (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering) and significant professional experience, particularly at least two years in the aerospace industry. Expertise in specific IT tools like Catia V5, CCD, and VPM, along with proficiency in both German and business-fluent English, is essential for success in this challenging and rewarding position.

Required Skills

Education

Technical degree (Bachelor or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Aircraft Construction, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable technical fields.

Experience

  • Professional experience (minimum 3 years) in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Supplier Management, or Project Management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the aerospace industry
  • Experience in customer-specific module adaptation (beneficial)
  • Knowledge of FCO processes, cabin integration, and module development (desirable)
