Job Summary
The IT Security Manager will be pivotal in maintaining and advancing the Information Security Management System (ISMS), adhering strictly to ISO/IEC 27001 standards. This role involves comprehensive day-to-day responsibilities, including analyzing and assessing IT security risks, providing expert consultation to departments on necessary protective measures, and developing, refining, and monitoring security-relevant processes. A core function is conducting detailed risk analyses, documenting findings, and ensuring the timely implementation and follow-up of risk-minimizing actions. The manager will also maintain the ISMS documentation, coordinate internal and external audits, and serve as the main point of contact for IT security matters, particularly concerning Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS) requirements. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of experience in information security, ideally within a KRITIS environment, coupled with a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or comparable qualification. ISMS certifications are beneficial, or the willingness to acquire them promptly.
Experience
- 3–5 years in information security
- Professional experience, ideally in a Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS) company
- Initial exposure to NIS2 regulations
