Job Summary
As an IT Security Manager at Mainzer Stadtwerke AG, you will play a pivotal role in securing the digital infrastructure of a leading energy and mobility provider. Your daily responsibilities include the management and advancement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001. You will conduct risk analyses, advise various departments on security measures, and ensure compliance with critical infrastructure (KRITIS) requirements. This role is highly collaborative, involving close coordination with IT teams to monitor processes and prepare for internal and external audits. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a comparable qualification. ISMS-related certifications are advantageous.
Experience
- 3–5 years of professional experience in information security
- Professional experience within a KRITIS (Critical Infrastructure) company environment is preferred
- Proven experience in risk analysis and documentation
- Experience in managing and developing documentation for ISO/IEC 27001 standards

- Willingness to acquire relevant IT security certifications if not already held. The role is based in Mainz and follows the TV-V collective agreement framework.
