Job Summary

This role is ideal for a qualified Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in building services technology, focusing on facility management for new construction projects, particularly within security authorities. The specialist will assume operator responsibility for technical systems, including creating maintenance plans, negotiating contracts, and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted operations. A core part of the job involves acting as the responsible electrical expert for various properties, defining testing methods, and overseeing inspection cycles. Furthermore, the role requires leading and steering an operational team, developing quality standards, and managing construction projects from planning and tendering through to implementation. Candidates must have a relevant technical degree, at least two years of professional experience in commissioning and operating electrical and building systems, and profound knowledge of relevant legal and technical standards (HOAI, VOB, DIN). This is an exciting opportunity to manage a complex portfolio of federal properties and contribute to climate-neutral real estate management in Berlin.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in commissioning, service, and operation of electrical and building services systems
  • Experience in technical operational management
  • Experience in handling CAFM systems is desirable
  • Knowledge of legal and administrative regulations, norms/guidelines (HOAI, VOB, BauO, DIN, VDI, VOL, BetrSichV, BGV)
