Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive road and traffic planning and engineering for municipal infrastructure projects within the City of Witten's Civil Engineering Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating design and execution plans (HOAI phases 3-5) using specialized software like AutoCAD and VESTRA. Daily tasks include coordinating planning efforts with various city departments, external utility providers, and engineering firms, as well as managing external contracts and calculating engineering fees. A key aspect of the job is representing planning measures in political committees by preparing decision documents and reports. The position requires a university degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on road and traffic planning, strong technical software skills, and familiarity with relevant German regulations (HOAI, AHO).
