Job Summary

The City of Achim is seeking a motivated and engaged IT Support Specialist to join their IKT team, focusing on maintaining and expanding the city's technical infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring modern, secure, and citizen-friendly administrative services for the city's 34,000 residents. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing comprehensive First- and Second-Level IT support, managing the expansion and maintenance of electronic locking systems in municipal buildings, and organizing and conducting IT training sessions for staff. The specialist will also be responsible for setting up IKT workstations, handling hardware and software inventory, and managing user accounts and device configuration. The ideal candidate will have a formal IT qualification, proven professional experience as an IT System Integrator, and strong knowledge of Windows, network technologies, Active Directory, and data protection regulations (DSGVO/GDPR).
