Job Summary

The Ratzeburg School Association is seeking a dedicated IT Specialist and Administrator to manage and maintain the complex IT infrastructure across several educational institutions. This is a crucial, full-time, permanent role focused on ensuring seamless technological operations for both administrative and pedagogical areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include the setup, coordination, and integration of network infrastructures, planning and administering Active Directory, and managing the installation and configuration of all school IT systems. The successful candidate will act as the key interface between schools, governing bodies, and external service providers, driving essential IT projects while strictly adhering to data protection and IT security guidelines. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional training, possesses strong technical knowledge in networking, routing, and firewalling, and demonstrates excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor/Master) in Computer Science, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or comparable relevant professional qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT systems administration or a comparable role
  • Experience in managing network infrastructures
  • Experience in coordinating external service providers
