Job Summary

This role involves leading the architectural strategy and development of cutting-edge Active Directory services within one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures, primarily serving the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The Lead IT Architect will be responsible for defining the architecture strategy, creating solution and security concepts (including emergency concepts and information security concepts), and managing the entire lifecycle of IT services related to Active Directory and adjacent technologies. Key responsibilities include developing and running Proofs of Concept (POCs), consulting on project requirements, and driving efficiency through automation. The ideal candidate possesses extensive, long-term professional experience in designing and securing large-scale Active Directory Enterprise environments, including knowledge of security measures like Red Forest (ESAE) or targeted mitigation based on vulnerability analyses. Fluency in German and good technical English skills are required for success in this critical, nationwide role supporting the digital future of the country's defense capabilities.
