Job Summary

This is a key scientific leadership role focused on advancing targeted siRNA-based medicines from early research through clinical candidate selection. The Senior Principal Scientist will act as the primary subject matter expert on siRNA therapeutics, providing enterprise-level scientific guidance on design, delivery, and best practices across R&D teams. Day-to-day responsibilities involve steering complex studies, managing external collaborations (CROs/partners), leading interdisciplinary matrix teams, and initiating novel research in siRNA and tissue targeting. The ideal candidate requires a Ph.D. in a relevant life science field, significant post-doctoral or industry experience in siRNA drug discovery, and a proven track record of translating cutting-edge science into therapeutic opportunities. Required Skills

Education

Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field

  • Professional experience designing siRNA molecules and optimizing delivery methods
  • Proven track record in targeted siRNA related drug discovery or development from ideation to preclinical candidate selection
  • Experience in taking scientific ideas from concept to validation
