Cyber Security Consultant | Data Engineer

Job Summary

This role involves expanding the Cyber Risk Team by supporting clients with various aspects of cyber security, offering significant individual career opportunities and engaging projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing comprehensive security testing projects, such as penetration tests, code reviews, Red/Purple Teaming, and technical security audits on applications, products, and services. The consultant will be responsible for creating technical security concepts, developing custom solutions to remediate identified vulnerabilities, and reviewing architecture concepts through detailed threat analyses. Furthermore, the role involves planning and executing phishing and social engineering campaigns and leading technical workshops. Key qualifications include a relevant university degree or equivalent specialized expertise, professional experience in technical consulting or a security team (like a SOC or Incident Response Team), and deep expertise in system and application security, including penetration testing tools like BurpSuite, Nmap, Kali, and Metasploit. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and programming languages (Python, Go, PHP, or C#) is also required, alongside fluent communication skills in both German and English.
