Job Summary

This role as a Data Lake Developer / Data Engineer involves designing and developing robust Data Lakes primarily utilizing the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Day-to-day responsibilities include requirement gathering, planning task packages, component testing, and finalization. You will drive initiatives independently across the full lifecycle, from supporting specialized conception and agile software development to providing 3rd-level application support. A key focus is the active development and implementation of reusable components and frameworks, working collaboratively within agile and potentially international teams, leveraging modern technologies like DataProc, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery. Candidates should possess a relevant degree (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) and initial experience in object-oriented or functional programming, preferably using Java (Spring Boot) or Scala. Strong analytical abilities and fluency in German are essential for success in this challenging and innovative environment at one of Germany's largest commercial banks.
