Job Summary

This role is a unique opportunity for a Research Associate concurrently pursuing a PhD within the leading German AI competence center, ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig, focusing on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. The position centers around the AICOM project, which aims to develop a novel, trustworthy AI assistance system by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with Knowledge Graphs to handle verified company data securely and comprehensibly. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting foundational scientific research in areas like Natural Language Processing, LLMs, and Knowledge Graphs, collaborating on national and international projects (potentially with industrial partners), and publishing research findings in top-tier academic venues. Candidates must hold an M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field, possess strong programming skills (preferably Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow), and demonstrate strong analytical abilities and motivation to work both independently and in teams. The role provides access to high-performance computing resources and specialized training.
